This SNickelFritz Chili Burger brings together a good old fashioned burger, Millie’s Chili Sauce, and rich blue cheese for a bold, comforting bite. Perfect for summer BBQs or a cozy weekend supper.
Makes 4 burgers

Ingredients
For the Burgers
• 2 lbs ground beef (half lean, half extra lean for best texture)
• 1/3 cup SNickelFritz Kitchens Millie’s Old Fashioned Chili Sauce
• ½ tsp salt (or to taste)
• ¼ tsp garlic powder
• Fresh ground pepper, to taste
Chili Sauce Glaze
• ¼ cup Millie’s Chili Sauce
• ¼ cup ketchup
For Assembly
• 4 brioche buns, lightly toasted
• Blue cheese, crumbled
• Fresh lettuce leaves
Directions
Make the Chili Sauce Glaze
In a small saucepan, combine chili sauce and ketchup.
Simmer over medium-low heat for 5–10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened and glossy.
Prepare the Burger Patties
In a large bowl, gently mix ground beef, chili sauce, salt, garlic powder, and pepper until just combined.
Form into 4 even patties (avoid overmixing to keep them tender).
Grill the Burgers
Preheat BBQ to medium heat.
Grill patties for 4–6 minutes per side, or until cooked to your preferred doneness.
During the last minute of grilling:
Spoon chili sauce glaze over each patty
Top with crumbled blue cheese and allow it to soften slightly
Toast & Assemble
Lightly toast brioche buns on the grill.
Assemble burgers with lettuce, glazed patties, and extra chili sauce if desired.
Serving Tip
Serve with a fresh simple garden salad, or grilled corn for a classic summer plate.
