Game Day Butter Tart BBQ Sauce Nachos

Cheer on your favourite team with our Game Day Butter Tart BBQ Nachos! Sweet, buttery, cheesy, and drizzled with garlic sauce is a total crowd-pleaser 🙌 Pairs well with your favourite local pint!


Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef

  • 1 cup Butter Tart BBQ Sauce

  • Salt, pepper, garlic powder & chili powder to taste

  • 1 large bag tortilla chips, divided

  • 500 GR block of Mountain Oak Gold Gouda cheese (or use your fav!)

  • 1 (15-oz.) can black beans (drained) or refried beans, divided

  • ½ red or sweet onion (or to taste)

Toppings

  • 1 large tomato, finely chopped

  • 1 avocado, finely chopped

  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro leaves (optional)

  • 1/4 cup thinly sliced scallions

  • 1/2 cup pickled jalapeños, divided

  • Garlic sauce & hot sauce (optional)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 425º

  2. Sauté the beef, salt, pepper, garlic and chili sauce until the beef is just no longer pink. Drain the fat

  3. Add in the BBQ sauce and simmer for 10 min (allows for caramelization) 

  4. Taste and adjust seasoning as required

  5. Arrange half of tortilla chips on a foil-lined baking sheet. Top with half of beef-bean mixture, half of cheese, half of black beans, and half of pickled jalapeños.

  6. Repeat with one more layer.
