🍁 Butter Tart Mustard Wings

A simple, flavour-packed twist on classic wings—sweet, tangy, and just the right amount of heat. Perfect for weeknights, game nights, or your next backyard BBQ.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken wings (local if you can—try Wing Wednesdays @cloverleaffarms6741)

  • Salt, pepper, and cayenne (to taste)

  • 2 tbsp SNickelFritz Kitchens Butter Tart Mustard

  • 1 tbsp soy sauce

  • ½ tsp sesame oil

  • A few drops of hot sauce (Cholula works beautifully)


Directions

  1. Season the wings with salt, pepper, and cayenne to your preference.

  2. Cook the wings:

    • BBQ or roast at 400°F (200°C), turning once, until golden and crisp (about 35–45 minutes).

  3. Make the sauce:

    • In a bowl, whisk together Butter Tart Mustard, soy sauce, sesame oil, and hot sauce.

  4. Toss and serve:

    • While wings are hot, toss them in the sauce until evenly coated.

    • Serve immediately and enjoy.


Serving Notes: These wings balance sweet and savoury with a subtle heat—no extra dip needed. Pair with a crisp lager or a simple cucumber salad to round things out.
