SNickelFritz Cobb Salad With Millie's Chili Sauce Reduction

Many people already love our Millie’s Chili Sauce on bacon and eggs… so we thought it would make an incredible warm dressing for a fresh cobb salad. And we were right! 😋
This easy summer salad combines crisp greens, smoky bacon, mushrooms, chicken, creamy avocado, cheddar cheese, and hard boiled eggs with a rich Millie’s Chili Sauce reduction that adds sweet, savoury, tangy flavour to every bite.
Perfect for quick summer dinners, light lunches, or using up leftover chicken from the fridge! ☀️
🍽️ Serves: 2
Ingredients:
4 cups washed salad greens
2 hard boiled eggs, quartered
½ cup old cheddar cheese, shredded
1 avocado, sliced
½ red pepper, thinly sliced
½ small red onion, diced
4 medium brown button mushrooms, sliced
2 slices crispy bacon, chopped
¾ cup leftover cooked chicken
½ cup SNickelFritz Kitchens Millie’s Chili Sauce
Directions:
1️⃣ Reduce the Millie’s Chili Sauce in a small saucepan over medium heat until thickened to a chutney-like consistency. Let cool slightly.
2️⃣ Prepare all salad toppings, leaving the avocado until last to prevent browning.
3️⃣ Divide salad greens between two bowls and toss with half of the warm chili sauce reduction.
4️⃣ Arrange eggs, cheese, avocado, red pepper, onion, mushrooms, bacon, and chicken over the greens.
5️⃣ Top with the remaining chili sauce reduction and serve immediately.
